Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Craft A World collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our website, platform, forms, analytics systems, and related services.

By using Craft A World, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Craft A World is designed to collect as little identifiable information as reasonably possible.

We may collect the following categories of information:

Account Information

If account registration is available, we may collect information required to create and manage your account, such as your email address, login credentials, and related account metadata.

Feedback and Contact Forms

If you submit a feedback form, contact form, or similar form, we collect the information you choose to provide.

We do not require you to provide identifiable information unless it is necessary for us to respond to you. If you choose to provide your name, email address, company name, or other contact details, we may use that information to reply to your inquiry.

Platform Usage Data

We collect anonymized or aggregated data about how users interact with the platform.

This may include information such as:

  • Which features are used.
  • Generation activity.
  • Template and map usage patterns.
  • Error events.
  • Performance metrics.
  • General platform behavior.

Our internal analytics are intended to collect anonymized usage information, not directly identifiable personal information.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand website traffic and usage.

Google Analytics may collect information such as page views, device type, browser type, approximate location, referral source, session activity, and other usage data. Google may use cookies or similar technologies to collect and process this information.

For more information about how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services, please review Google's own privacy disclosures.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Operate the website and platform.
  • Provide account-based access.
  • Generate and store maps and templates.
  • Improve product functionality.
  • Understand usage patterns.
  • Diagnose bugs and technical problems.
  • Respond to feedback or contact requests.
  • Improve performance, reliability, and user experience.
  • Develop future features, including SDK-related capabilities.

3. Pre-Alpha Data Risk

Craft A World is currently in pre-alpha.

Because of this, data may be lost, corrupted, accidentally deleted, or made unusable due to bugs, database changes, schema changes, infrastructure changes, or breaking product changes.

You should not rely on Craft A World as a permanent storage system during the pre-alpha period.

4. Data Retention

We may retain account information, generated maps, templates, form submissions, feedback, analytics data, and related platform information for as long as needed to operate, improve, debug, secure, and develop the platform.

Feedback and contact form submissions may currently be retained indefinitely unless deletion is requested and technically feasible.

Anonymized or aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information.

We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate the platform, such as hosting providers, analytics providers, infrastructure services, database providers, authentication providers, or email/contact-form tools.

These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services.

We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, security needs, fraud prevention, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of Craft A World, users, or third parties.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Craft A World and third-party services such as Google Analytics may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies.

These technologies may be used to:

  • Keep users signed in.
  • Remember preferences.
  • Analyze traffic.
  • Understand usage behavior.
  • Improve the platform.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling cookies may affect platform functionality.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information.

However, no system is completely secure. Because Craft A World is in pre-alpha, the platform may contain bugs, incomplete security controls, or operational weaknesses.

You use the platform at your own risk.

8. User Rights and Requests

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing.

To submit a request, use the privacy and legal contact form. If you are signed in, you may also use the in-app feedback/contact button.

Email is optional on the contact form. If you want a response, or if you are asking us to access, correct, delete, or otherwise act on account-related information, include an email address or enough account-identifying information for us to verify and respond to the request.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

9. Children

Craft A World is intended for game developers and creators. It is not intended for children under the age of 13, or the minimum age required by applicable law.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

10. International Use

Craft A World may be accessed from different countries.

By using the platform, you understand that your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, where data protection laws may differ.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

If we make material changes, we may notify users through the site, by email, or through another reasonable method. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.

12. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, use the privacy and legal contact form.

If you are signed in, you may also use the in-app feedback/contact button. Include contact details if you need us to respond.
